Captain Scott:
Scott loves everything about the water. One of the earliest family photos is of him sitting in a tidal pool, naked except for a mask and snorkel. Not much has changed today, except for the addition of clothes.
cott holds degrees in History and Marine Science. He uses these backgrounds to produce some of the most informative and entertaining site briefings in the industry. He’s also handy to have around for fish identification.
Scott holds a 100 ton USCG Masters License and is known throughout the community as a safe and competent captain. In addition to captain duties, he is an instructor through several different agencies including PADI, TDI, SDI, and the prestigious British Sub-Aqua Club. He still enjoys teaching everything from Open Water Courses to technical diving classes.
During his free time, Scott writes the dive column in the local paper and works for the National Undersea Research Center here in Key Largo. He was lucky enough to be chosen for several scientific dive expeditions including the 2003 Monitor project and the 2004 Queen of Nassau mission.
Let Scott make your charter with Partial Pressure a pleasurable experience.
Amy:
Growing up on the coast, diving was a natural progression for Amy. Having logged many dives in the sometimes challenging conditions off the Carolina coast, she brings her broad dive experience and knowledge to the Keys.
As the “brains” behind the business, Amy mostly works behind the scenes. From taking reservations to book-keeping, she helps the business run smoothly. When not working as a nurse in the Hyperbaric Chamber, she can be found on the dock, helping check in customers and acting as the official “tank girl”. Let her help make your dive and hotel reservations for a truly fantastic vacation in the Keys.
